Mike;
Saw your question on the last forum.

My M37 has a married NP-205 T case. You may have seen pictures in the album of a mock up where I had both OEM T Case cross members sitting in place for measuring only.

The final build has a removable cross member under the rear of the NV-4500, then a Removable cross member under the rear of the NP-205 T Case. The cross member under the T Case does have rubber isolation between the cross member and T Case and is not carrying weight, just total support. All cross members are bolt removable.

I have no issues at all with clearance of drive shaft and rear T Case cross member.

I have never had to remove the T Case. The T case can be removed by removing the cross member, backing it out of the NV-4500 and lowering. However for safety in handling a heavy T Case/Tranny, all my builds give removal access to T Case and Tranny from the top. Remove cover in the cab, stick in a engine life arm, unbolt and lift it up and roll lift out of cab. Much safer this way.

Paul
