Brake slave cylinders

Replacing complete brake system; master, lines, and slaves, what takes the larger bore piston, front or rear side of the slave? The ones I took off were both 1.5 inch bore for more breaking power, due to it being a old fire truck that carried a 300 gallon tank supplying the booster reels. Thanks.....Ray
