Jim, I'd have to say by the math it will give you about another +10 mph on the flat at the same top rpm as your motor is currently able of handling. 4:89 gears combined with a proper engine build with a longer duration cam, hardened valve seats and a good balance job should catapult you into the comfortable range of 65-68 mph with that tire size.
