As I described. On long runs, voltage drop rules, rather than safe current capacity. A 100 amp feed is no good if the wire is so long that you get too much voltage drop. Everything will be safe, but lights will be dim and flicker and motors will be weak and overheat. For long runs, you have to calculate resistance, and remember to double the distance because the electricity has to go out and back.
