Thanks. I am charging the battery tonight. It is an Optima 6v and has been on a battery maintainer while not in use. It doesn't seem to drag when starting but I'll charge it anyway.
What would be the next thing in line to check? All connections seem good (cleaned all terminals), used proper sized wire with ring connectors (crimped and soldered with heat shrink). I'm confident in my wiring.
Maybe the routing is incorrect? Could the ignition wires be reversed?
