Okay, I see the pics below. Weird they don't show at the top.

The cab is positively a true military cab. It's missing the rear window screen but the holes are there. Center clasp and side slides on the windshield and the hood supports on the firewall are on 45 degrees which only military cabs had.

It's either a first or second series truck as the gauges narrow that down. The doors have me wondering though. Civys had a metal surround that ran along the top to hold the cardboard insert in. Militarys used a steel insert with no surround. All militarys were "supposed" to have one piece door glass with a metal surround, no vent windows. Is there a door lock hole on the outside of the passenger door? Seems odd someone would swap out the internals for the wings but anything is possible.

All this stuff is meaningless if the buyer doesn't care but I always like to share what I have learned about them. The other problem is Dodge seemed to have used what they had sometimes on trucks. What they were "supposed" to have and how they were is something that we'll never be able to settle on.

If I had to take a guess, with the posiyion of the blackout lights. I'd guess a second series 1941 WC-12.
