Just remember, the housing are what will ground your lights to make them work. Si if your painting everything completely, you'll either have to weld ground studs on or scratch the paint enough to transfer the ground through all the pieces of your truck to get back to the battery.
I Tig welded stainless studs where ever I had lights and did it between the cab/frame, frame/bed, etc. Also a good idea to have a ground stud under the dash to run all your dash electrics to. Saves a lot of time and paint in the long run.
