Does that thresher look like an accident waiting to happen? No wonder that farming was (and maybe still is) one of the most dangerous occupations in the world.

What's he doing? Pre-heating an old hit-or-miss gasoline engine to get it started? Looks like there is some steam involved too. Maybe, starting a gasoline engine with steam, never heard of that.
