Anouther Tire Question

Went to a buddys shop looking for tires for a 48B1PW,7.5X16. He said a 2" rule of thumb, 2" larger or smaller is max. Started with metric equv. but computer said 7" is max. Played some more and found a 235x85x16 good for 6" to 9" rims. Only tire I found is a B.F.Goodrich KM2MT. I like the tires, have them on a jeep. Has anyone tryed this size ? Any problems ?
