I did see on allpar that the 241, 260 and 270 are all the same stroke with different bores. Plymouth ran the 260 as well. I was looking at the HP ratings from late 40s up through about 1960 compared to chev small block and ford 292 and 306 and the mopar stuff was just in whole different league. waaay more HP per cubic inch. its fun to watch Richard Petty in the early days running circles around everyone like hes on a Sunday drive. He admitted he just had more power than everyone else.
