The tag you mentioned, thats the welded on tag that says to use only one gasket? The front axle has one of those tags welded on it. Since the axle I got didn't have a tags, I had already ordered three gaskets to use on it. But I like the idea of the metal ring being made. And for the studs, the holes in Ed's axle is the same as the first one, it will not accept the larger studs from the PW axle. It would either have to be drilled or get the adapter studs from VPW.
Amazing you can tell all that from looking at a few pictures. The axles look identical to me! lol
