I was wondering about how I should deal with the oil pump and repriming it. I was thinking that before I put the head on I could turn it over by hand, will it pull oil up in slow motion?
As part of the overhaul I am going to be putting an oil filter on (previously not present), so that sounds like it might be a good time to make sure there is oil where it needs to be.
