it is possible that the mains may need to be line bored. I have a basic understanding that the caps would need to be shaved a bit then reinstalled and then all bored to regain true and concentric position. Do the notches for the bearings need to be redone as well? The first step the machinist will do is magnaflux the block to insure its rebuild-able. In any event the rebuild looks to be more extensive (and expensive) than a ring and valve job. Finding a running engine would be great but challenging and may end up needing rebuilding as well. Just exploring all possibilities
