For the knuckles on these trucks you need something decently thick, since there isn't an oil seal keeping the grease from leaking out of the knuckle. Also, the way that the axle functions and throws the grease away from where it needs to be lubricated, tells me that you need the grease to flow as well. Corn head grease is either a #0 or a #00 rating and will flow when hot and solidify when cool. I have not tried this, but since Will says it leaks out of the knuckle I would say it is too "thin". Chassis #2 grease seems to get thrown away from the axle and stay there, leaving an unlubricated cavity in the middle. I would say that it is too thick. So it seems like the desired grease should be between corn head grease and #2. Maybe use #1, or some kind of blend of some gear oil and some #2? The key to keeping the grease/oil in there is using a product that will not separate when left sitting.
