I had on winter coveralls and a full jacket, so I only felt the seatbelt. My eyes hurt for about three days. Best I could compare it to would be a combination of welding without a good mask and sandblasting all day. I think it was more of the air presure change that had the most effect.

It was my first airbag, and suspect it would have been more violent if I didn't have the seatbelt on and was closer when it deployed.
