i asked gary p. about carb fitment on the new 318 poly intake casting project and this is what he said:
The carb pattern will accept Holley and AFB/AVS carbs. This will be a direct bolt-on manifold with the proper cast in valley plate, water crossover passages, and water neck outlet; a true one-piece bolt-on intake manifold just like stock but with improved HP and Torque over the Weiand and at a much lower cost.

This is a Chrysler Power Magazine initiative and I am working on behalf of all our Poly Mail List members to help insure a quality product that performs. However, the foundry person is a Mopar aficionado, engineer, professional head porter taught by Bob Mondello, and has extensive research and design experience via the Arias Racing Head program. Donovan Racing, and others too numerous to mention. He is the true genius that will make this manifold a success. The Poly intake will be patterned after the Hot Heads 392 HEMI design and modified to fit and perform on a stock Poly as well as a modified/built Poly. Plenum volume will be reduced and runner cross-sectional area will be “tapered” to enhance velocity & proper “pressure” to prevent intake reversion and produce power. Our target goal for intake flow through this manifold is 270 CFM. Make no mistake, this is a High Performance design but will be modified to improve drivability characteristics on docile Polys as well.
