We have Southern Yellow Pine floors in out bedrooms. It's beautiful wood and very durable. To get it to Idaho, I had to buy a unit and pay big bucks for shipping. We trimmed a house with it, and what I had left we tongue and grooved and used it for the floor. As hard as it is, you wouldn't believe it was pine.
