You want to lock the reamer in place when the cutter is a little below the ridge, follow the manuf. instructions for doing that. It looks like the cutter is at its bottom point as indicated by the amount of threads showing. You want to lock the cutter against the cylinder wall, so follow the instructions. Once the above is done, just follow directions for turn the cutter. I would turn it manually, you don't want to spin it fast, slow and careful. It's a great tool that does a nice job, and AutoZone is a great place to rent tools.

On one of my pistons, #5, compression rings were broke and two pieces were lodged parallel to the piston. This worn a ridge down the cylinder wall. I started at the very bottom of the cylinder working my way up, resetting the tool as the cutter reached its top point, and cut the ridge out.

I'm glad to see you got the bolts out.
