lol. you would have like this guys stuff. he was a British fighter pilot in WW2 then spen decades building roads in South Africa, came to WA state and started a truck body building biz in the 70s or 80s I believe. then in retirement started shippinng steam road building equipment form South Africa and rebuilding it. In retirement he also had a fab and repair shop and I used to take him exhaust manifolds comletley broken in half and he could braze them back together better than new. perfect braze welds. did not ever have to machine the surfaces because of warpage either. great work.
