Tim, have the machine shop mag check that cylinder to find out for sure what it is. but just speaking for myself, I would be sorely tempted to try it, if what you say about not losing any coolant is right. cracks will manifest themselves at notches and other stress risers with-in the block. if the crack looks like it might end up in a valve seat it could get to be problematic and cause other things to fail.
