If you get the mill will you use it for mainly fence boards or siding for buildings?
I have a tree farm and have an advantage of a local country sawmill in my County here. The picture is of me getting back a load of dressed pine lumber for a building project. I had hauled many Loblolly Pine logs over to the mill with my trailer a few weeks before. The mill cut the logs but also dressed them to standard nominal sizes which helps with construction of a building. Rough cut lumber is harder to use for beams and studs because it varies more in sizes.
