Yep time for rebuild. There is a seal and bushing in the end of the axle tube that are worn. If the bushing wears it takes out the seal. You will need to replace the seal and bushing in the axle tube and the bushing in the spindle. Then while you are in there you should all seals, bearings and bushings for the "king pin" and the wheel hub. VPW has the felt seals which are also leaking on yor truck. I would also look at the tie rod ends and replace as needed along with the steering linkage. Also look a replacing the spring bushings and pins as they are often badly worn.

It sounds like a lot and it is but you can't believe how much of an improvement it will make in driving your truck as most times every thing is badly worn.
