Ok, back to combat rims for a second.

I posted pics of my combat rims mounted on my M101 trailer, and someone replied with this comment when I said I was also going to be putting combats on my PW:

"Be careful with combat rims on a civilian Power Wagon, (B1PW, W300M, WM300).
The brake drums are different on the civilian model and may crack when the combat rims are mounted.
Double check with Vintage Power Wagons in Iowa.
Goo luck."

Know obviously there are a lot of people with combats on their Power Wagons. Where does this kind of information come from? And is there any validity to it??
