No indoor shop. Maybe I'm a weenie. I'd rather not work on it out in the parking lot this time of year. I know how the project will grow once I get into it.

Today actually turned out pretty nice, though. Compression is still decent enough in all cylinders, (110,150,130,140) plugs are all covered with oil, pistons look grungy through the plug holes.

I'm thinking maybe just try lifting the head enough to slide out the old gasket and slide in a new one, if the old one's not stuck much, and hope that will get it by until spring. I'd like to strip the head down properly, get it milled, and get the valves ground, but I'd be out of commission at least a week, probably two with the holidays, and I want to visit my sister in Seattle for Thanksgiving.

Cleaned the oil off the plugs and it fired right up, but this is obviously no solution.
