About a year ago somebody here pointed me to an ebay seller of them, new production. He was selling them as a set including rear mounts, and I think the set was for some car, and not listed by engine size (something like "195X-195X plymouth motor mounts"), not something that would turn up on ebay when searching for trucks or "230" or "251". I think the set was $40 or so. I couldn't use the rears but asked him if he'd just sell the fronts and did, so I bought another for future use. I'm thinking it was around $20. I'd have to check the box to see if there was any brand on them, but it seems like they were made in India.

I'm all for supporting a US outfit that will re-vulcanize old mounts, but in this case, there may be one obscure source of new production mounts still in existence.

Regarding all kinds of old rubber mounts, I also wonder how feasible it would be to make new ones out of urethane rather than black rubber. They use a lot of urethane for suspension bushings these days and it's supposed to hold up better than rubber. The great thing about urethane is it can be cast cold and doesn't need any fancy hot pressurized tooling. The only question is how well the urethane would stick to the steel.
