I received an email from Tom Hannaford about 251 motor mounts. Tom runs Then & Now Automotive, and one of the things they do is revulcanize about 300 different mounts.

Tom is trying to verify the part number of the 251 motor mount, and get some samples of the rear mounts to reproduce.

Tom's email is oldpartstom@aol.com

We are Then & Now Automotive (a division of Antique Auto Parts Cellar) and have supplied new mechanical parts for all makes of car since 1973, with a bias towards the Chrysler products, which had us add the Floating Power Motor Mount Service to our selection of services some years ago. In our shop we have the heated vulcanizing presses that were once in the Chrysler Corp design lab...and we
revulcanize about 300 different mounts for all makes of cars- wherever the originals are hard to find and there might be a sort of a market for the service.
I'd like to fill out the rest of the application of the new mount tool, but I haven't the parts books here to manage it. I'd also like to find samples of the trivial looking rubber insulators for the rear so we could produce the set.
And, of course, I'd like to find a bunch of Power Wagon people (owners or vendors) who have mounts to re-vulcanize. You seem like the best place to start! At this point it looks like the service would be $ 79.50 per mount re-done.
Hope this helps, Tom Hannaford
