wonder who chased waves from haiyan
i thought hurricane rita was gonna wipe galvezton and maybe houston off the map
at one point in time it took up the whole gulf of mexico and it did reach cat 5 plus
somehow it died offshore and went into no man s land between tex. and lousiana
what was crazy is it formed a week or so after katrina--pt. isabel had 20 ft. waves with 20 sec. periods and off shore winds and some folks had a go off the end of the jetty--Rita there were no takers--probably 40 ft.
