You don't upload them to the forum. All pictures are hosted somewhere else and the forum links to the image _file_. Your image url needs to end in .jpg, not .html or .aspx or some other hooey.
If you don't have your own web presence, or if you don't have an account with an image hosting site that gives you access to the actual image file, you need to make nice with a forum regular and see if they will post it for you.
