but as obvious by looking at shoe wear that is not really happening. soudns good on paper but doesn't work. there is not enough movement in the shoe for the "digging in" action to really have any more than minimal affect. if it did the one shoe would wear out faster than the other. and it may a little but barely. that is why I liked th cartoon in the Plymouth video. that is whats really happening. and I dont agree that everyone went to servo becausse they work better. I think it had more to do with servicability. the Lockheed brakes are a pain in the neck to work on. servo are super simple and quickly serviced.
