If it is out of a WC it will most likely be about 30 gallons. Mine is about that. The PW tank is about 18 gallons if I am correct and covers 1/2 of the frame width so it would be 36+ if it went frame rail to frame rail. Since your new tank is thinner it possibly is a WC tank which would put it at about 30 gallons.
You can measure your tank and determine its cubic feet the multiply by 7.4805 to get the gallons. If you are working in cubic inches a gallon is 231 cubic inches.
