There are also Cookie Manager Add Ons for Firefox, that make it easy to selectively delete cookies, in case you don't want to throw out the baby with the bath water.

You may just want to delete cookies from one domain, like cnn.com. Once you open the manager, you enter a search for that domain, select all and delete.
