How should we fight that approach? Go back to more antiskid.
My first child fatality call was one on MLK day and the state took the day off along with the school kids. The roads were so slick after the deicer froze that we had trouble walking on it.
The frozen deicer looked just like the unfrozen stuff. Very deceiving, the truck slid off, ejected the kid thru the back window then came to rest on his head.
