If you are not going for a 1000 point restoration or plan on selling it in the near future, I'd use what you have or try to find someone to trade with. Heck I have a third series truck waiting in the wings and I bought one of Matt's 2nd series for it. Reason? I like them better and it's MY truck.
Too many people worry about what others think to me. Bottom line, if you like it, go with it. Trust me, no matter what you do you'll find someone to nit pick your rig. Take it with a grain of salt.
Most people will call it a Jeep or Willys anyway ;)
