i am gonna put a power booster where ray s would go

the nissan box in this pic is everybit as beefy as the box ray uses and is a much easier to mount and i like the way it bolts right up to the frame and that i can link the drag link with a tie rod end thus lengthing it coupled with swinging horizontally i hope will eliminate the bump steer being that the box is up front on the shackles

the toyota boxes i saw were the same size as the nissan if memory serves we

there may be dinker boxes and beefy ones not sure

my guess is the german design just looks dinky in the pick and is as beefy as the 72 dodge box---they all look to be as beefy as each other even on the later models they all look to be the same but the design may have improved in later years

and as daryl says the boxes from a two ton jap truck will work up front

don t really want to use a jap box but if it is up to the task i don t really care--

brainstorm--after having said all this i could just use the below box mounted either on top of the frame up front and link to the drag link with a tie rod end or could even weld a ball where it would need to go on to the 1990 box and use the ff stock pitman arm

or mount in on the frame with the splined output shaft facing the ground and use the stock 1990 pitman arm and tie rod end and link to the stock ff drag link--this seems to be the best as the pitman arm will swing horizontally and hopefull minimize any bump steer

seems easy(easier said than done) nuff to me this way i can install the boosted mc(rather than redo or buy a stock mc or rig some other boosted scenario and the power steering then i can rebuild the rest of the truck--lol
