Do you have a test light? If so you can trace where the power goes, start at the dimmer switch, earth the test light wire and use the probe to see if you have power there, if not then the switch is probably faulty, if you have power there, check at the terminal block for the light connection. No power means the fault is between the switch and where you tested. It's also possible to blow both beams at the same time, so do you have tail-lights when on low beam? A test light is a great piece of equipment for all types of vehicle electrical trouble-shooting or testing.
