i was given a nissan ps box that looks like the below pic and think i have figured out two ways to use it one up front and one in the middle that would be cross steering

first one is mounted on the outside of the frame in front of the front shackles with the pitman shaft splines pointing down the pitman arm action will be horizontal to the ground front to rear vs vertical

have a pc of stock threaded to screw into the drag ling end that used to be on the stock pitman arm on the stock box but now has been swung to the front and the other end threaded to fit the ffpw tierod end which will bolt to the eye of the stock nissan pitman arm reamed to fit the ffpw tie rod

this scenario would mandate????? fixing the spring in the front and which means you could mount it a little further back where the hangers used to be

the pitman arm eye on the one i got is kind of beany but i saw some in the junk yard with beefier pitman arms that could be reemed to take the ffpw tie rod end

the other one put the box in the same position on the outside of the frame but almost centered over the springs with the pitman arm still swing horizontally but crossways to an eye welded on the tie rod as far away as you can get it without the pumpkin interfering and you could once again use ffpw tie rods but this time use one on each end and vala ffpw cross steer ps
