It appears that the most negative of the negative comments was yours concerning 4.89 gears.
I can name off several Power-Wagons that were sold for use on the farm and that were equipped with 4.89 gears. I run 4.89 gearing in both of my trucks and I work them both. Neither has ever been to Dairy Queen. Actually the 4.89 gearing option with 7.50x16 tires was not all that uncommon in trucks that were not ordered with additional weight adding accessories such as winch and/or rear PTO components.
But if you are looking for negative comments, I may have one. I would not call the truck "original" as it was repainted red at one time over the factory Green.
