i did a little research and found that you can do a lot of driving before you can recoup the cost of the system. on my m37 v8, which had a 360 from a little red express truck, i used a new 650 edelbrock. smaller than the 850 cfm that it came from the factory with. if i didnt stomp on it, i got decent mileage. i believe that if you are handy, a better system can be built using a tbi system scavenged from a later model truck. there are hot rod sources that provide the brain.
