Sorry Bill, but I can't help you with the bat poop problem. But here is a tip that does work for the outhouse. One of our older members has been taking care of that issue at our camp for many years. On the last day when you close the camp in the fall, simply shake and spread two pounds of brown sugar down the hole.
Check it out next summer. You will wonder where the yellow and brown went.
And of course always remember to close the door to keep the porcupines out. JJB.
