Rear Axle Seal Problems

42 WC56 has only one rear axle seal on the inside. No special nut for the outer seal? My WC54 has both inner an outer. Did some have 2 an some only 1. Any help Thanks. The WC56 is my truck that I use for shows an traveling to my cabin on the weekends. It does run on the highways at times.
