Just do not bring a PW into the state of Washington if you can't find the Vin number or the Vin numbers on the frame and cab do not match. They will assume it has been stolen and it will be up to you to prove otherwise. I know of instances where they will impound vehicles if they have questions.

I will give them credit, they have recovered and returned cars that were stolen 20+ years ago.
