Hackers sometimes use 'l33t speak' (pronounced leet) short for elite, it's their very own language where they replace certain letters with with numbers or symbols (e becomes 3, i becomes !). If I had to guess, I would say that the guy who wrote the scr1pt for the forum has put this in as a joke.
