How bad is it cracked? I've got a WDX w/winch and recently while rebuilding my pto I found a small hair line crack above the shifter shaft seal and was told that I could grind out the crack with a dremel tool (something small) and use J.B. Weld to fill in where the crack is. After thinking about it, I decided to leave mine as it is because it's above the oil level and I'm not really intending on using the winch for alot of heavy pulling. So if the crack isn't to bad or big, it might be repairable. Also consider what you maybe using the winch for to. Good Luck, Robert
