Without knowing too much about your plans...

If you get a Cummins 4B/BT/BTA, go with a Construction or Automotive version instead of the Marine block. You'll find that the Automotive version is a relatively easy drop into a Power Wagon since the oil pan sump and exhuast dump are in the rear, the Construction model can have the oil pan reversed, but you may have to swap out the exhuast manifold to get it pointed in the right direction, marine blocks will have you doing the most work to get them to work as the exhaust, cooling, and flywheel adapters will all have to be swapped out.

In any event, considering the rev limits on the Cummins 4B's and successor B3.9's, you might want to seriously consider an overdrive. If you go with the T19, you might want to get Advance Adapters to make you a Ranger OD to slip between the Cummins and the transmission. Since they can make a Ranger OD with either a Chevy or Ford front end with a rear to match the T19, it would allow you to use the existing bellhousing and clutch on a previously enjoyed Cummins and give you a 0.73:1 OD and the ability to split gears in all ranges and in 4x4 mode...
