Dear Rob, I think your wrong.
It amazes me how you know the subject is about the lighter power assist unit on a 1-ton but try to use heavy equipment as an example as to how durable and heavy duty they are. Goodness, you could have a good argument for anything using that type logic and comparison. I've seen the PW power assist units,with all the vulnerable hoses exposed to be ripped out or damaged in adverse offroad working conditions. Just as you may have seen in the PW tape put out by VPW,running over and through brush your just asking for a sapling or dead limb or stick to rip a hose lose from the drag link.Compairing a 1-ton unit to heavy equipment units is like compairing ping-pong balls to bowling balls.I don't think heavy equipment even uses the same type drag link valving setup.
Theres a big heavy duty difference.
