Here it is the last day of May. I was thinking on the way in to work how fast time flies. Like in Jimmy Buffet's song "years grow shorter not longer..." Seems like last week I was enjoying reading all the 'helpful' suggestions on how to get a PW out of the frozen ground. At that point I chimed in that a neighbor had his '60 Falcon encased in ice all the way up to the tail lights. This morning there was still some ice at the creek edge. Two weeks ago I was driving in town at 11:30 a.m. and the bank temp sign said 84 degrees. Less than six hours later it was snowing. I thought I would have to plow out my neighbor ( he has one of those sissy '70's PW's that has a heater and wipers and side windows and brakes) since he had already taken his plow off. My '47 PW needs a bit of work (understatement) to make it worthy of putting license plates on it and driving it past the end of my driveway; but that is life and I will always know that I have something to do when I wake up. Enough rambling for today. Thanks to all of you who shed a bit of humor and light on my world that I take a bit too seriously sometimes; who show that a bunch of crusty old truck nuts can care for those they have never met (peace be with you Anthony); who help and complain, and don't worry about spelling or being politcally correct. Thanks again.
