I have seen another war movie, I think it may have been Guns Of Navarone. Anyway in the opening scene it shows a troop truck carrying German troops. When the truck rounds the bend and is driving away from the camera, you can see the big "DODGE" on the tailgate, as big as day. Now explain that one...and I don't think they put that it was supposed to be a captured american truck, they would not think that much into the props.
