The 120 seires IHC was made from 1950-1962. the "120" means it is a 3/4 ton. Also regarding the 6 lug wheels...The ones from a Dodge one ton of the late 50's thru 67 fit, and I have been told that Kaiser M-715 wheels fit too.

Oh boy!!!!! I just read your posting again! Okay. The truck you have is a 1957 S-120. This style truck was made from '55-early 57 then IHC came out with the A-series trucks! You have one of my dream trucks, as I learned to drive on one almost just like it!!! Seeing the truck is a '57 it should have a 12 volt system. Please post pics if you can!
