'Sorcerer', American, 1977. Not to be missed, about three shady characters hiding out in a banana republic. For a job they have to truck unstable dynamite over a mountain range to put out a oil well fire.
Also, the one this movie is based on, a French movie from the 1950s 'Wages of Fear'. Same general story, not as good. Several Dodge WC-52s are seen in the film, one is for the driving test they must take.
'Sorcerer' may be getting re-released soon, but video stores usually have it. Made by William Friedkin. His previous film was 'The Exorcist'.
