Mike, what makes you think you're the only one who worked A frame trucks?
I worked them before and after hydraulic gantrys, and thought I went to Heaven when the hydraulic gantry trucks replaced the back breakers.
You might twist the frame with a heavy lift, but if you remembered to put the spring lockouts in the springs won't break.
The DERICK on that truck looks like it was built by an oil field rigger to make his life easier. The elbows at the apex yell oil field.
